Bussing
Schools & bus companies are open! Call to verify route, school start/end times and medical codes are the same all around. If child has Diabetes, verify glucagon action card & worker training are in place.
* Make a backup plan for the first days of school (9/8 for public, varied for nonpublic); save receipts.
* When a bus shows up, make sure the roster includes your child’s name & correct school!
Note: GPS system that families can track is not in effect yet at most bus bases.
* Changes to PM drop-off take a while. Submit a request form as soon as you know where your child needs to go at daily dismissal, if other than the home address. This includes shared custody.

If you have no NYCSA account, click ‘Continue as guest’, but you will need a 9 digit student ID and the school district number for the location of the dropoff.
